Mahindra & Mahindra on Sunday reported total auto sales of 97,177 vehicles in February 2026, registering an 18 per cent year-on-year growth.
The company’s domestic utility vehicles (SUV) sales stood at 60,018 units during the month, marking a 19 per cent increase compared to 50,420 units sold in February last year. Overall SUV sales, including exports, reached 60,685 units.
Exports for February stood at 3,384 units, up 11 per cent year-on-year, while cumulative exports for the fiscal increased 21 per cent to 37,022 units.Domestic commercial vehicle sales recorded 24,585 units, reflecting a 10 per cent growth over the same month last year.
On a year-to-date basis till February FY26, domestic passenger vehicle sales grew 19 per cent to 600,004 units from 503,439 units in the period of FY25.
Within the commercial vehicles segment, Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) under 2 tonnes declined 4 per cent to 3,169 units in February. However, LCVs in the 2–3.5 tonne category rose 12 per cent to 21,416 units. Three-wheelers, including electric models, saw a sharp 44 per cent jump to 9,190 units during the month.
