New Delhi: SMK Helmets, the premium global helmet brand from STUDDS Accessories Ltd, has announced the full-scale domestic launch of its NOVA series, introducing two variants — NOVA Solid and NOVA Track — for the Indian market.According to the company’s statement, NOVA model had already received international acceptance and was earlier showcased to Indian audiences at India Bike Week. With the domestic rollout, the series will now be available across authorised retail outlets and leading motorcycle accessory stores nationwide.The NOVA Solid is priced from ₹4,000, while the NOVA Track starts at ₹4,300. Both models are available in sizes XS to XXL in gloss and matt finishes.Both variants are built using an Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic (EIRT) shell and feature a multi-density EPS liner designed for impact absorption. The helmets are certified under ECE 22.06, DOT and ISI standards.
Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, STUDDS Accessories, said Indian riders are increasingly conscious about certified safety and contemporary design, and the NOVA series expands the company’s premium full-face portfolio in the domestic market.
Aerodynamics and comfort
The NOVA range features a streamlined full-face profile aimed at enhancing aerodynamic stability at higher speeds. The ventilation system includes chin and top air vents along with rear exhaust ports. Additional features include a breathable, removable liner, eyeglass-friendly design, quick-release chin strap and two shell sizes for improved fit.
NOVA Track is positioned with track-inspired graphics and chrome-accented options, available in seven colourways. NOVA Solid offers single-tone finishes, including a pink iridescent colour-shift option.
