Formula 1 is back for its fifth round of the season – and third sprint event – at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this weekend.

Mercedes head into the Canadian Grand Prix looking to extent their run of consecutive grand prix victories. But McLaren inflicted their first defeat of the season in a sprint race at the last round in Miami.

Formula 2 will make its second appearance at a new venue this weekend as drivers race on the Montreal track for the first time. This weekend’s support bill also feature a trio of F1 Academy races.

This weekend also sees the biggest race of the IndyCar season. The Indianapolis 500 starts at 12:45pm Eastern time in the USA, which if 5:45pm for those in the UK.
