Electric vehicle maker Ultraviolette Automotive on Monday announced the launch of a new UV Space Station in Nagpur, marking the company’s 40th such facility in India.

UV Space Stations are Ultraviolette Automotive’s branded retail and experience centres for its electric motorcycles.
Ultraviolette Automotive has expanded its retail and service network with a new experience centre in Nagpur, adding to its presence across more than 35 cities in India.
The facility, developed in partnership with Quantum Surge Motors LLP, will offer sales, servicing and test rides for the company’s electric motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and F77 models.“The momentum we are witnessing is not just about adoption, but about aspiration- a new generation of riders who demand unmatched design, uncompromised performance, futuristic technology, and sustainability in equal measure.,” said Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder at Ultraviolette.
The X-47 Crossover features radar-based assistance systems, such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change alerts, and rear collision warnings. It is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery with a claimed range of 323 km and can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.8 seconds.
The company has also introduced a battery subscription model, allowing customers to purchase the motorcycle separately while paying a monthly fee for battery usage. The model aims to reduce upfront costs for buyers.
“India’s transformational journey into a global innovation hub, and the launch of the Ultraviolette Space Station in Nagpur is a testament to that journey.,” said Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-founder at Ultraviolette.
Ultraviolette has also introduced a new ownership model, Battery Flex (BaaS), to make its high-performance electric motorcycles more accessible.
Under this initiative, customers can purchase the Ultraviolette X-47 at a starting price of ₹1,49,000, with the battery available to subscribe to separately, with plans starting at ₹2,499 per month.
