2025 Funding supports education, workforce readiness and community programs across Central Kentucky

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (Oct. 21, 2025) – Central Kentucky’s future is looking a little brighter today as Toyota announced $1.9 million in grants benefitting nonprofit organizations across the region in 2025. The company’s annual community grants program reinforces Toyota’s longstanding commitment to education, workforce readiness and community resilience.

The announcement comes during Manufacturing Month, a time to highlight the importance of developing the next generation of manufacturers.

“Toyota is proud to partner with organizations that are creating opportunities for students and helping prepare our community for the future,” said Kerry Creech, president of Toyota Kentucky. “By investing in education and the future workforce, we are helping ensure strong communities and a strong future for manufacturing in the United States.”

This year’s grants support a range of initiatives, including the expansion of STEM learning opportunities, workforce training, and programs that help remove barriers to educational success. Some of the organizations receiving funding include:

  • Jobs for Kentucky’s Graduates (JAG)
  • Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass
  • AMEN House
  • FIRST Robotics Kentucky
  • Jubilee Jobs
  • YMCA of Central Kentucky
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass

Nonprofit leaders echoed the value of Toyota’s support.

“Toyota’s investment allows us to reach more students at a critical time,” said George Stafford, president, JAG Kentucky. “Their support is helping us build brighter futures for young people, ensuring they have both the soft and hard skills needed to achieve their goals.”

Since establishing operations in Kentucky nearly 40 years ago, Toyota has contributed more than $165 million to nonprofits across the Commonwealth.
