Sauber will mark the coming end of its association with sponsor Stake with a special livery for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The usual liveries of the two C45s will be wrapped in chequered flag graphics for this weekend’s race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
The third special livery Sauber has created this year will only be seen at this weekend’s round. Stake’s logos have not previously appeared on their cars at the Qatar and Abu Dhabi grands prix due to local advertising laws.
The team previously created one-off designs for the races in Miami and Spain earlier this year.
They are the third team to reveal a new livery for this weekend’s race. Williams and Alpine have already presented their designs.
The Sauber name will also no longer be seen in F1 after the end of this season. Audi will rebrand it as their factory F1 entry from 2026. They revealed a concept design for their livery last week.
Sauber described its Las Vegas design as “a striking visual tribute inspired by the thrill and emotion of Formula 1’s most iconic symbol – the chequered flag.”
“Reimagined in motion, sweeping chequered elements twist across the car’s bodywork as if captured mid-wave at the finish line. These dynamic patterns flow seamlessly into deep black carbon textures and are punctuated by the team’s signature electric green, resulting in a kinetic, confident look that feels fast, alive, and unmistakably at home under Vegas’ neon glow.”
