Welcome to Tuesday’s edition of the RaceFans round-up.

Comment of the day

The stewards’ U-turn over whether Charles Leclerc went off-track while overtaking George Russell didn’t impress @David-BR:

I agree with the decision not to penalise but not with the dubious team motives and their apparent involvement in the stewarding decision.

Leclerc was off-track by FIA’s own data and looked to be so. Then we get into weird territory where Russell and Mercedes defend their rival to avoid their other driver getting penalised? I get their motive. I don’t get why professionally adjudicated motor racing would allow team motives to interfere in stewarding decisions. And so end up telling us that what happened maybe didn’t happen even though their own data and system recorded that it did!

But hey, big team money, right?
