New RV Trailer Boosts EV Range While Undercutting Competitors

• California-based startup Pebble is now taking orders for its mid-spec Flow electric RV trailer.
• The newly introduced version is $39,500 cheaper than the top-spec model, and $16,000 less than its closest competitor.
• Despite the price cut, the trailer still comes with an LFP battery and two electric motors that can assist while towing, improving the car’s range.

Pebble, a California-based RV startup, has opened the order books for a more affordable version of its electrically assisted trailer. The new Pebble Flow Magic Pack trim starts at $135,500, which is not exactly cheap, but it’s significantly more affordable than the top Founders Edition version, which retails for $175,000.

What’s more, the Magic Pack trim undercuts its nearest rival, the Lightship Panos AE.1, by $15,500, making it one of the cheapest self-propelled RV trailers on the market, if not the cheapest.

Under the skin, the Flow trailer has a 45-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack and dual electric motors that enable it to assist the towing vehicle while driving, which leads to a range boost for EVs. The Pebble Flow can also be remotely controlled at the campsite, and it can automatically position itself over the hitch when it’s time to hit the road.

The battery can be charged from an AC or DC source, and it can also export power to charge the EV that’s towing it–not while driving. Optionally, a 1.1 kW solar array can be fitted on the roof, which can constantly feed power to the battery.

Inside, the mid-tier Flow Magic Pack comes with bug screens for the door and both windows, a full kitchen, a “spa bathroom,” and two convertible sleeping spaces that accommodate four people. The standard kit also includes a feature called Auto Dump, which automates the waste disposal process. As cost-extra options, the trailer can be fitted with all-terrain levelers, a powered awning and dimming exterior glass.

Pebble said it will deliver the first Magic Pack versions in March 2026, while continuing to assemble the Founder’s Edition models that started rolling off the assembly line in June. What’s more, an even more affordable version of Pebble’s trailer, the Flow Standard, is planned for next year, with a starting price of $109,500. It will have the same 45 kWh battery as the rest of the lineup, but without the electric motors that help improve the towing vehicle’s range.
