Three more teams will join Haas in running special liveries at this weekend’s United States Grand Prix.
McLaren, Aston Martin and Racing Bulls have all revealed one-off designs for the race at the Circuit of the Americas.
For the first race since they clinched the constructors’ championship, McLaren will run a livery designed in conjunction with sponsor Google. It will reintroduce the chrome colour it has used for other special livery designs.
Aston Martin has presented what it calls a “science-inspired” livery for this weekend’s round of the world championship. It has been created as part of a promotion with its title sponsor Aramco. “Together, we are highlighting science, innovation, and the people who bring the car to life,” said team principal Andy Cowell.
Racing Bulls have made the most drastic change to their car’s usual livery. The 02s driven by Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson at the Circuit of the Americas will feature new graphics promoting a new product from Racing Bulls’ sponsor Cash App.
Racing Bulls has retained only the familiar Red Bull graphics and some areas of white paint on its car. Much of the rest of the chassis – including its front wing, endplates, nose, sidepods and wheels – features what the team calls “a striking pearlescent black and amber tortoise pattern livery.”
The same design will also appear on the drivers’ overalls, the teams’ clothing and in their garage throughout the event.

Racing Bulls team principal Peter Bayer said: “these special liveries have become part of our identity.” It is the third time this year Racing Bulls has changed its livery for a round. The team used a pink design at the Miami Grand Prix and incorporated graffiti art into its livery at the British Grand Prix.
Three teams have now revealed special livery designs for the United States Grand Prix. Haas is marking its second home event of the season with an American-themed design, as it has done for the previous three races in Austin.
