Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), a leading player in India’s automotive sector, reported total sales of 78,969 vehicles in June 2025, registering a 14 per cent year-on-year growth. The company’s SUV segment continued to power its performance, with domestic sales of 47,306 units, marking an 18 per cent growth over June 2024. Including exports, total utility vehicle sales stood at 48,329 units.June also marked a strong finish to the quarter, with Mahindra achieving its highest-ever quarterly SUV sales, reflecting sustained demand momentum across its portfolio.“In June, we achieved SUV sales of 47,306 units, a growth of 18 per cent, and total vehicle sales of 78,969 units, a 14 per cent growth compared to the same month last year,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. “The quarter ended on a very positive note for us.”
Commercial vehicle sales
In the commercial vehicle (CV) segment, Mahindra sold 20,575 units in the domestic market. While sales of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) under 2T declined 20 per cent, the 2–3.5T segment grew 4 per cent. The 3-wheeler category, including electric models, saw a robust 37 per cent growth with 8,454 units sold.Exports remained largely stable, with Mahindra exporting 2,634 units in June, a 1 per cent increase over last year. Year-to-date exports are up 36 per cent, underlining the company’s growing global footprint.
