Jakson expands energy solutions portfolio with BESS, solar kits; enters e3W segment

Jakson Group on Monday announced a major expansion of its energy solutions portfolio with the launch of five products — Jakson Genset Xtra, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Jakson Solar Kit, Mobile Light Tower (MLT) and electric three-wheelers.The company said the portfolio expansion is part of its strategy to build a more comprehensive energy ecosystem spanning power generation, storage, rooftop solar and clean mobility.

“With FY26 revenue of over ₹9,000 crore, Jakson today has both the scale and the responsibility to shape future-ready energy solutions,” he said.Sundeep Gupta, Vice Chairman, Jakson, said the market is increasingly looking for energy solutions that are efficient and dependable, while Sudhanshu Pokhriyal, CEO, Jakson Distributed Energy Business, said the company is adding solutions that combine reliability with sustainability.

The newly launched Jakson Genset Xtra is positioned as a compact backup power solution for residential and small commercial users, while the Jakson BESS will be offered in four variants ranging from 3 kVA to 15 kVA, aimed at providing outage support and energy independence.

The Jakson Solar Kit is a rooftop solar “system-in-a-box” compliant with MNRE and IS standards, while the Mobile Light Tower is designed for infrastructure, defence, disaster relief and outdoor applications, offering a runtime of 40–50 hours.

Jakson also said it has entered the electric mobility space through a strategic partnership with a Bengaluru-based company to add electric three-wheelers to its portfolio.
