New Delhi: Greaves Cotton on Friday appointed Manish Poddar as its Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately, as the company strengthens its leadership team to support its growth across multiple business segments.
Poddar will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial strategy, capital allocation, governance and investor relations, while supporting Greaves Cotton’s ongoing transformation and expansion in engineering, mobility and electric mobility businesses.
The appointment comes at a time when Greaves Cotton is expanding its portfolio across electric vehicles, retail mobility solutions and engineering services, while focusing on improving operational efficiency and financial discipline.Poddar brings over two decades of experience in finance leadership, strategy and business transformation, having worked across sectors including manufacturing and technology. In his new role, he will work closely with the leadership team to drive sustainable growth and strengthen the company’s financial framework.Greaves Cotton said the appointment is aligned with its strategy to build a robust leadership structure capable of supporting long-term growth and innovation across its businesses.
The company has been expanding its presence in the electric mobility ecosystem through its subsidiary Ampere Vehicles, while continuing to grow its engineering and aftermarket businesses.
