Goodyear India on Tuesday announced a senior leadership change in its human resources function, Vishal Dhingra set to take over a broader regional role as Abhishek Arora steps down
Abhishek Arora, Director – Human Resources, India, will resign effective close of business on April 20, 2026, to explore external growth opportunities, the company said in a regulatory filing.
He will also cease to be part of the company’s senior management personnel from the same date, it added.
Following this, Vishal Dhingra has been appointed as HR Director, South Asia, designated as senior management personnel, effective April 21, 2026.
The company said the role will be a full-time appointment.
Dhingra brings over 25 years of experience in human resources. He joined Goodyear in July 2020 as Director – HR, India, and currently serves as HR Director for the ASEANZ region.
Prior to joining Goodyear, he worked at PepsiCo as HR Director – India Supply Chain and Sector Employee and Labour Relations Lead for Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.
He has also held HR leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and earlier worked in plant HR roles at Eicher Tractors and Ballarpur Industries.
