Exicom, a manufacturer of EV charging and critical power solutions in India, has announced a partnership with IONAGE, an EV charging software platform provider. The collaboration aims to establish a neutral and accessible EV charging ecosystem, simplifying charger discoverability, accessibility, and management across India.India’s target of achieving 30 per cent EV penetration by 2030 requires a significant expansion of the country’s EV charging infrastructure. As this infrastructure scales, the need arises to simplify charger operations and ensure ease of access for users. Exicom has an installed base of 1.75 lakh chargers across India. Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Exicom’s EV charging solutions will integrate with IONAGE’s CMS platform, facilitating seamless CMS integration for various charging networks in the country. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the EV charging ecosystem and improve charger management.Support for charge point operators and fleets
CPOs, fleet operators, OEMs, and real estate developers will have access to an optimised charging infrastructure equipped with real-time insights, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. This integration is expected to increase charger uptime, reduce operational costs, and facilitate scalable deployment, which is critical for building customer confidence and expanding the EV charging infrastructure.The combination of Exicom’s hardware and IONAGE’s software will provide a plug-and-play solution that simplifies EV charging for businesses, fleets, dealerships, and individual users.
