Exicom, a manufacturer of EV charging and critical power solutions in India, has announced a partnership with IONAGE, an EV charging software platform provider. The collaboration aims to establish a neutral and accessible EV charging ecosystem, simplifying charger discoverability, accessibility, and management across India.India’s target of achieving 30 per cent EV penetration by 2030 requires a significant expansion of the country’s EV charging infrastructure. As this infrastructure scales, the need arises to simplify charger operations and ensure ease of access for users. The partnership seeks to create a unified platform that allows EV users to charge across networks without navigating multiple applications. Exicom has an installed base of 1.75 lakh chargers across India. Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Exicom’s EV charging solutions will integrate with IONAGE’s CMS platform, facilitating seamless CMS integration for various charging networks in the country. CPOs, fleet operators, OEMs, and real estate developers will have access to an optimised charging infrastructure equipped with real-time insights, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.
