New Delhi: Chief minister Rekha Gupta Friday launched the Delhi EV Subsidy Portal, https://evsubsidy.delhi.gov.in, and unveiled a booklet of the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy 2026, describing the policy as a step towards promoting clean mobility.
Speaking at a programme at the Delhi secretariat, Gupta said eligible buyers of electric vehicles will be able to apply online for subsidies through the portal within 30 days of purchasing a vehicle and obtaining its Registration Certificate (RC). Govt aims to transfer incentives directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts within 60 days after document verification.
The portal allows applicants to upload documents PAN and bank account details online. Users will also be able to track the status of their applications in real time.
The chief minister said govt will invest more than ₹7,000 crore over four years to implement the policy.
