After a hugely successful start to the season, McLaren’s drivers had less to smile about after the Canadian Grand Prix.
It was bad enough that the team was poised to miss out on the podium places for the first time all season. Then Lando Norris took himself out by clattering into the back of Oscar Piastri while trying to pass his championship-leading team mate.
Fortunately for McLaren, Piastri was still able to finish. Norris was quick to hold his hand up and accept full responsibility.
