New Formula 1 team Cadillac has revealed the livery it will use for its first season.

The General Motors brand announced its arrival in F1 by presenting its car in an advertising slot during the Super Bowl and revealing a show car in Times Square, New York.

The team’s cars will run what it calls a “dual colour” livery, predominantly black on the right-hand side and white on the left.

Cadillac’s CEO Dan Towriss said the design “represents who we are and what we bring to Formula 1.”

“Every detail is intentional: bold, modern, and unmistakably American, while respecting the heritage and precision that define this sport,” he continued. “Choosing to reveal our first race livery during the Super Bowl and in the heart of Times Square is a way to introduce our identity to the world at the intersection of performance, culture, and entertainment, and to connect with fans in places far beyond the paddock.”

Besides the Cadillac branding, the car carries prominent logos of TWG AI, the artificial intelligence arm of team owners TWG Global. TWG’s brands also include IndyCar team Andretti, which will carry the TWG AI logos on Will Power’s car this year. The new team originally entered F1 as Andretti before attracting GM’s backing.

Cadillac’s ‘split’ livery look is not entirely original. Cadillac’s design recalls that used by British American Racing when it arrived in F1 in 1999. The Brackley-based forerunner of the modern Mercedes team painted its car largely blue on one side while the other half was largely red and white.

The new team has already conducted a shakedown test of its first chassis at Silverstone and took part in the opening pre-season F1 test at the Circuit de Catalunya. The car is due to run again in two tests at the Bahrain International Circuit before the 2026 season begins at Melbourne in March.
