Bolt.Earth, ChargeZone join hands to expand EV charging access

Bolt.Earth and ChargeZone have partnered to allow users to access charging stations across both platforms through a single application, the companies said on Wednesday in a joint statement.

The integration will provide electric vehicle users access to more than 1,500 fast-charging locations for four-wheelers across India, enabling them to locate, access and pay for chargers on either network through one app.

“Interoperability is the future of EV charging in India,” Bolt.Earth founder Jyotiranjan Harichandan said, adding that the integration would allow users to view and access charging points across both networks through a single platform.

ChargeZone operates a public fast-charging network across highways, intercity routes and urban locations, while Bolt.Earth runs a charging network spanning more than 2,000 cities across India.
