The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, witnessed the launch and unveiling of 34 new products from various vehicle exhibitors. The expo showcased a significant push towards electric vehicles and sustainable mobility solutions. Several major automakers debuted new electric models, including SUVs, scooters, and motorcycles, along with advancements in flex-fuel technology.

Top unveilings and launches

Maruti Suzuki launched its first electric SUV, the e VITARA, featuring Level 2 ADAS and next-gen connectivity with Suzuki Connect.

Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled three new products: the e-ACCESS, Suzuki’s first electric scooter; the all-new Access 125; and the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel, India’s first E85-compliant sports bike.

Hero MotoCorp expanded its portfolio with the Xtreme 250R, entering the 250cc motorcycle segment, and the Xpulse 210, bolstering its adventure lineup. New scooter models include the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160. The company also introduced the ethanol-based Hero HF Deluxe, its first flex-fuel motorcycle, and the VIDA V2 e-scooter.

Škoda Auto India showcased eight models, including the Škoda Kylaq, Škoda Kylaq (Accessorised), Škoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, All-new Škoda Kodiaq, All-new Škoda Superb, Facelifted Škoda Octavia vRS, Škoda Elroq, and the Škoda Vision 7S.

Hyundai Motor India launched the Hyundai CRETA Electric with an introductory price of INR 17.99 lakh.

MG Motors introduced the MG Cyberster and MG M9 under its new luxury brand channel, MG Select.

Tata Motors launched the All-New Tata Sierra, a modern take on the classic vehicle.

VE Commercial Vehicles entered the 2-3.5T Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment with the Eicher Pro X Range, an electric-first range designed for mid and last-mile logistics.

Kia India unveiled the new Kia EV6 featuring the ADAS 2.0 package with 27 safety and driver-assistance features.

Greaves Cotton Limited introduced premium variants of the Ampere Nexus, the Race and Executive editions, and unveiled the ‘Xyber’ e-motorcycle with a certified range of up to 200 km per charge and fast-charging capability.

Luxury unveiling

Porsche India unveiled two BEVs: the all-new Macan SUV and the updated Taycan sports saloon. The Macan BEV is available in three variants: Macan (INR 1.21 Cr), Macan 4S (INR 1.39 Cr), and Macan Turbo (INR 1.69 Cr).

Mercedes-Benz launched the EQS Maybach SUV 680 ‘Night Series’ priced at INR 2.63 Cr and the Maybach GLS 600 at INR 3.71 Cr.

BMW India unveiled its first locally produced EV, the BMW X1 Long Wheelbase All Electric, priced at INR 49 lakh. The SUV features the eDrive20L drivetrain with 204 hp, 250 Nm torque, and a 531 km MIDC range.

The expo highlighted the automotive industry’s shift towards electric mobility and sustainable transportation solutions. The diverse range of new vehicles and technologies showcased demonstrates the commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving demands of the market.
