New Delhi: Steelbird Hi-Tech India on Thursday said its ROX helmet series has crossed 10 million units in cumulative sales, marking a key milestone for the company in India’s two-wheeler safety gear market.
The company said the ROX range, positioned as an affordable and accessible helmet series, has gained popularity among commuters and young riders due to its combination of pricing, safety and design.
With price starting from ₹969, the ROX helmet series has been one of Steelbird’s highest-selling models and has helped expand access to ISI-certified helmets in the mass market segment, the company said.“Crossing the 10 crore mark with our ROX helmet is not just a business milestone, but a reflection of the trust that millions of riders have placed in us,” said Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird Hi-Tech India Limited. He added that the company’s focus has been to make quality helmets accessible across India. “ROX embodies that vision—delivering safety, comfort, and style at scale,” Kapur said.
Steelbird said the ROX series is built using high-impact ABS shells, multi-density EPS, and ventilation systems for improved rider comfort. The helmets are available in multiple variants and finishes, and include features such as quick-release buckle mechanisms and scratch-resistant visors.
The company said the milestone comes amid growing awareness around road safety and rising two-wheeler usage in India. It also credited its expanding distribution footprint, including its Rider Shop network and dealer partnerships, for enabling wider availability across urban and emerging markets.
