Community-focused electric vehicle charging network Rebolt has partnered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to set up EV charging infrastructure across the central bank’s residential and office campuses in Bengaluru.As part of the initiative, Rebolt has installed more than 18 charging points across residential staff quarters and the RBI’s main office in the city. The infrastructure is designed to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles among RBI employees by providing convenient charging access at both residential and workplace locations.The charging stations are designed to support both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Rebolt executed the project end to end, including the supply and installation of the charging stations, and will also manage ongoing services, maintenance, and operations.The new charging points use Rebolt’s proprietary IoT-enabled smart charging devices, which are integrated with the company’s mobile application. The system allows users to locate charging stations, monitor charging sessions in real time and make automated payments through the app.

Through this initiative, RBI Bengaluru joins a growing number of government institutions and corporate organisations across India that are adopting EV-ready infrastructure to support cleaner mobility.

The partnership marks another milestone in Rebolt’s network expansion. The company currently operates over 700 EV chargers across more than 230 locations.
