TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) on Friday conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for its Grade A built-to-suit industrial and logistics park in Indore, marking the start of development at the 20-acre facility. The project is expected to commence operations by August 2026.
The logistics park is being developed with an investment of ₹250 crore and is aimed at meeting the rising demand for organised warehousing and industrial infrastructure in central India. TVS ILP said the project is expected to generate employment for more than 1,000 people in and around Indore.
Strategic location in PithampurLocated in Pithampur Sector 7, one of India’s established industrial belts, the park offers connectivity to key industrial and consumption centres across western, northern and southern India. The facility is being developed on land allotted by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), a move that the company said would simplify statutory approvals and reduce long-term legal and operational risks for customers.The park is situated about one kilometre from National Highway 47 on the Indore–Ahmedabad corridor and lies within a 25-kilometre radius of Indore airport, the city centre and the railway station, providing strong multimodal connectivity.Grade A infrastructure
Designed to global standards, the facility will support heavy industrial usage and feature FM2 flooring, a 13.5-metre-wide apron for truck movement, wide internal roads, integrated fire safety systems and a dedicated 1,000 kVA power infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said the company is the first corporate developer to enter Indore with the objective of addressing the shortage of Grade A industrial and logistics parks in the city. He added that the facility is expected to cater to sectors such as e-commerce, automobiles, textiles, FMCG and FMCD, third-party logistics and allied industries, while also serving demand from neighbouring states including Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
