Indian women’s helmet brand Tvarra has onboarded cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues as an investor partner, marking a shift from celebrity endorsement to an equity-led, long-term association.
The partnership is aimed at strengthening Tvarra’s focus on women-centric safety, design and everyday mobility. The company said Rodrigues will play an active role in shaping the brand’s long-term strategy, rather than serving as a brand ambassador.
Women centric design
Tvarra, founded by Alpana Parida, designs helmets specifically for women riders, factoring in head size, balance, hair accommodation and daily urban commuting needs. Its helmets are ISI-certified for Indian roads and also meet DOT safety standards.Parida said the association with Rodrigues aligns with the brand’s emphasis on discipline, intent and long-term thinking in safety design. She added that safety should be integral to mobility rather than an afterthought.Rodrigues said the partnership resonated with her personal belief in preparation, consistency and ownership. She noted that mobility plays a role in building confidence for women, while safety enables them to pursue independence.
Tvarra currently sells its helmets primarily through online channels and has a presence across more than 600 cities. The company plans to expand into offline retail as part of its 2026 roadmap.
