Maruti Suzuki India Ltd reported total sales of 189,665 units in September 2025, up 2.7 per cent from 184,727 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales, including passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles, fell 8.3 per cent year-on-year to 135,711 units from 148,061 units in September 2024.The company stated that the wholesale figure was impacted by logistical constraints towards the end of the month.
Exports, however, soared to an all-time monthly high of 42,204 units, up 52 per cent from 27,728 units a year earlier. Sales to other OEMs also rose to 11,750 units, compared with 8,938 units last year.The company added that customer sentiment has improved following the GST reforms, with 165,000 units delivered in the first eight days of the ongoing Navratri festive period.
