JSW Sarbloh Motors partners with Tomcar USA to locally produce TX range all-terrain vehicles in India.

JSW Sarbloh Motors, a subsidiary of JSW Defence Private Limited, has entered into a strategic joint venture with Tomcar USA to locally manufacture the Tomcar TX range of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) in India.

The move marks a significant step by the JSW Group to indigenously produce tactical mobility platforms for the Indian Armed Forces, paramilitary units, state police and industrial sectors requiring extreme off-road capability.

Production will take place at JSW Sarbloh Motors’ facility in Chandigarh, with the first India-assembled Tomcar TX units expected by early 2026. Field trials and demonstrations are scheduled for multiple defence and paramilitary agencies in the coming months, the official press release said. “The TX platform is designed to meet the rigorous demands of our armed forces and security agencies while ensuring superior durability, flexibility and safety,” said Parth Jindal of the JSW Group. Tomcar, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, is globally recognised for its extreme-duty ATVs used in military and industrial operations. Its TX platform features independent suspension, high ground clearance, modular design, payload capacity of up to 1,200 kg, and options for hybrid and electric powertrains.

JSW Sarbloh Motors, acquired by JSW Defence in 2023, already supplies amphibious mobility vehicles to the Indian Defence Forces through its subsidiary JSW Gecko Motors.

The partnership will also target commercial applications in mining, forestry, border patrol, and search-and-rescue operations, alongside defence deployments.
