Yuma Energy, India’s fastest-growing Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to accelerate the deployment of battery-swapping infrastructure nationwide.The collaboration leverages HPCL’s extensive network of over 24,000 retail outlets, allowing Yuma Energy to place smart, AI-driven battery-swapping stations in high-demand locations across metro cities and tier-2 towns. The initiative aims to provide EV riders, delivery fleets, and businesses with fast, reliable access to energy, comparable to traditional refuelling.By combining HPCL’s trusted presence with Yuma’s battery-swapping expertise, the alliance seeks to support India’s growing adoption of electric two- and three-wheelers while promoting sustainable mobility solutions.
