Williams will race in a special livery at this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The team’s “all black” design is to promote a brand of its title sponsor Atlassian. The usual predominantly blue livery will be largely black for the upcoming round at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

Other teams are expected to reveal special liveries for Formula 1’s showpiece event in Las Vegas, one of three rounds to take place in the USA. Sauber and Racing Bulls have already indicated they will do the same.

This is the fourth variation on its regular livery Williams has introduced this year and its third change in the last four rounds. The team added details for its home race at Silverstone, used a heritage 2002 livery at the United States Grand Prix and adopted a special livery for another sponsor, Gulf, at the previous round in Brazil.

Williams changed its liveries for both of the previous two races in Las Vegas. In 2023, when its driver line-up included American racer Logan Sargeant, the team added Las Vegas graphics to its engine cover for the venue’s inaugural race. The following year Williams used a bright yellow engine cover highlighting the logos of Sargeant’s replacement, Franco Colapinto.

Sauber, Alpine and RB (now Racing Bulls) also used special liveries at last year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.
