Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, unveiled its full product line-up at EICMA 2025 in Milan, alongside announcing a strategic partnership with Cardo Systems, a global leader in motorcycle communication technology. The collaboration aims to advance connected riding solutions, beginning with the launch of ‘UV Crossfade’, a carbon fibre smart helmet that integrates safety and connectivity features. The UV Crossfade helmet is priced at ₹19,900 and is now available for purchase via Ultraviolette’s online platform.

The partnership marks the first phase of Ultraviolette’s Connected Rider Ecosystem, which merges vehicle data, rider communication, and safety alerts into a unified platform. The UV Crossfade helmet enables real-time connectivity between riders and their Ultraviolette motorcycles, debuting with the F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet, and the X-47 Crossover, before being rolled out across the company’s entire range.

Features

Combining Cardo’s mesh communication network with Ultraviolette’s in-house smart systems, the helmet facilitates rider-to-rider and rider-to-vehicle communication. The integrated Dynamic Alert Sequencing (D.A.S) software analyses and prioritises alerts from the motorcycle, routing them intelligently to the rider’s Cardo unit, even during mesh or phone-based communication.

Weighing approximately 1,380 grams, the UV Crossfade features a carbon fibre outer shell reinforced with fibreglass inner layers, balancing strength and lightweight design. It meets DoT and ISI certifications and complies with the ECE 22.06 global safety standard, ensuring readiness for both Indian and international markets.

At EICMA, Ultraviolette also showcased its global portfolio, including the X-47, the world’s first motorcycle to feature radar as standard, and upcoming models such as the Tesseract and Shockwave.
