Ultraviolette Automotive has entered multiple Central and Eastern European markets, including Hungary, as part of its international expansion strategy, through a distribution partnership with Elektrorider.

The move will see the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle maker expand its presence to countries across the Danube region, including Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia and the Czech Republic. With this addition, the company’s footprint in Europe now spans 19 countries.

As part of the expansion, Ultraviolette will introduce its performance electric motorcycles, including the Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 and Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet, in the newly added markets.“To riders across Hungary and Central Europe, we seek to bring Aviation based design, unmatched capability and performance, along with future-forward technology that redefine the motorcycling experience with every Ultraviolette ride,” said Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette. The development comes as Indian electric vehicle manufacturers increasingly look to overseas markets, particularly in Europe, where demand for electric mobility solutions continues to grow amid tightening emission norms and policy support.

Ultraviolette, which has been exporting to several European countries, is among a small but growing group of Indian EV makers seeking to establish a presence in international premium motorcycle segments.

“At Elektrorider we represent a lifestyle built around performance, freedom, adventure, and reliability. With deep roots in the CEE market, we combine data-driven insight with real riding experience; we don’t guess but listen and analyze,” said Attila Pavuk, COO of Elektrorider.
