TVS Supply Chain arm acquires Swamy and Sons 3PL for ₹88 crore, deepens FMCG warehousing play

FIT 3PL Warehousing Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, has acquired Hyderabad-based Swamy and Sons 3PL for ₹88 crore, strengthening its presence in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) logistics segment in southern India.

The acquisition, completed at an enterprise value of ₹88 crore, was funded through internal accruals and is expected to enhance the company’s operational footprint and execution capabilities across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

In FY2025, Swamy and Sons 3PL reported revenue of ₹207 crore with a profit before tax margin of 3.2 per cent.

Strengthening regional footprint
TVS Supply Chain Solutions said the deal will bolster its warehousing and distribution capabilities in key consumption markets, helping it scale services for large FMCG customers.

“This acquisition is a strategic step towards strengthening our high-performance supply chain platform in India,” said K Sukumar, CEO – India, Middle East and Africa, TVS Supply Chain Solutions.

“Swamy and Sons 3PL’s expertise in FMCG supply chains and strong regional presence will significantly enhance our ability to serve customers.”

The company added that the transaction positions TVS Supply Chain Solutions among the leading warehousing-focused third-party logistics providers in India, reinforcing its role in the FMCG segment.

Swamy and Sons promoter Arun Swamy said the acquisition marks an important milestone for the company, which has operated in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for over three decades.“Becoming part of TVS Supply Chain Solutions will provide access to scale, systems and governance, while enabling expansion into new geographies,” he said.

Following the acquisition, Arun Swamy will continue to lead Swamy and Sons 3PL, overseeing the ownership transition and driving customer retention and business growth.
