TVS Motor Q2 net profit soars 37% to ₹906 crore

TVS Motor Company on Tuesday reported a 37 per cent increase in its standalone net profit for July-September (Q2) period of FY26 to ₹906 crore, up from ₹663 crore registered in the same period last year.The company’s operating revenue rose 29 per cent YoY to ₹11,905 crore during the period, up from ₹9,228 crore in the same period last year. Operating EBITDA grew 40 per cent to ₹1,509 crore, while margins improved by 100 basis points to 12.7 per cent. Profit before tax (PBT) jumped 37 per cent to ₹1,226 crore, compared with ₹897 crore in Q2 FY25.

Performance across segment

TVS said the performance was supported by its highest-ever quarterly sales of 15.07 lakh units, up 23 per cent from 12.28 lakh units in the year-ago quarter. Motorcycle sales grew 20 per cent to 6.73 lakh units, while scooters registered a 30 per cent jump to 6.39 lakh units. The company’s three-wheeler sales climbed 41 per cent to 0.53 lakh units during the quarter.Exports also saw a sharp rebound, with two-wheeler international sales up 31 per cent to 3.63 lakh units, underscoring improved demand from key markets.

H1 FY26 sales

For the first half of FY26, TVS reported total revenue of ₹21,986 crore, up 25 per cent from ₹17,604 crore in the first half of FY25. PBT during the period rose 36 per cent to ₹2,279 crore. Total two-wheeler sales for the half-year stood at 26.86 lakh units, up 20 per cent year-on-year, while three-wheeler sales surged 43 per cent to 0.98 lakh units.The company also expanded its product portfolio with four new launches over the last three months: TVS Orbiter, TVS King Kargo HD EV, TVS NTORQ 150, and TVS Apache RTX.
