Toyota Recalls Certain MY2023-2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Vehicles – Toyota USA Newsroom

PLANO, Texas (March 31, 2026) — Toyota is conducting a noncompliance safety recall involving MY2023-2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles in North America. Approximately 74,000 vehicles are involved in this recall in the U.S.

The sound emitted by a subject vehicle to alert surrounding pedestrians of its presence may be quieter than intended when the vehicle is operated in reverse and noncompliant with a federal safety standard. When the vehicle is operated in reverse, the sound may be harder to hear in certain conditions, increasing risk of a crash with a pedestrian.

All known owners of the subject vehicles will be notified to return their vehicles to a Toyota dealer. The dealers will update the relevant software, free of charge.

For all involved vehicles, Toyota will notify customers by late-May 2026.

Information about automotive recalls, including but not limited to the list of involved vehicles, is current as of today’s filing date and is subject to change thereafter. To see if your vehicle is involved in a safety recall visit Toyota.com/recall or nhtsa.gov/recalls and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or license plate information.

For any additional questions, Toyota customer support is also available by calling the Toyota Brand Engagement Center (1-800-331-4331).
