On one side, you have a unibody vehicle. And then on the other side, you have a body-on-frame vehicle.

But what does that mean? Nobody knows.

Just kidding, lots of people know. But if you’re not a car person, you may have trouble keeping it straight.

So, in the first Too Afraid to Ask of 2026, Jess Buck with Toyota Motor North America Research & Development takes a break from her real job to give us a quick refresher on the subtle differences between unibody and body-on-frame vehicles. And in the process, she slaps a Tundra a few dozen times.
