EV charging company ThunderPlus has unveiled its MegaWatt Ultra Fast Charging Hub in Mutthugadahalli, near Bengaluru International Airport. With a total capacity of up to 1 MW, the hub offers a full range of charging options, from 7.4 kW AC chargers to 240 kW DC ultra-fast chargers, making it one of the most advanced EV charging destinations in the country.Spread over 28,000 sq. ft, the hub can accommodate more than 100 cars for park-and-charge and over 10 buses simultaneously, catering to fleet operators, long-haul buses, cargo transporters, and EV drivers. Its strategic location also positions it as a key link on intercity EV-ready highways, supporting seamless connectivity between Bengaluru and major cities, the company said in a statement.The Bengaluru hub follows ThunderPlus’s successful 1 MW facility in Hyderabad and precedes the upcoming Kurnool hub, together electrifying the Hyderabad–Bengaluru Highway and addressing long-distance EV travel challenges.
