On the occasion of World EV Day, Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) inaugurated India’s largest TATA.ev MegaCharger hub near Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

The co-branded facility, located within The Leela Mumbai Hotel premises, features eight fast DC chargers of up to 120 kW capacity and 16 charging bays, enabling simultaneous charging for as many EVs, as reported by PTI . The hub is designed to cater to private car owners, taxis, ride-hailing fleets, and logistics operators, offering reduced wait times and faster turnaround.

The hub was jointly inaugurated by Tata Power CEO and MD Praveer Sinha and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and TPEM MD Shailesh Chandra. India is targeting 30 per cent EV penetration by 2030 as part of its broader sustainability goals.
