Stellantis appoints Parshuram Kolekar as Head of Manufacturing (VP) – India & Asia Pacific

Stellantis has appointed Parshuram Kolekar as Head of Manufacturing (Vice-President) for India and the Asia Pacific region, strengthening its regional manufacturing leadership as the automaker advances its growth and operational roadmap.

According to Kolekar’s LinkedIn post, he will lead manufacturing strategy and operations across India and Asia Pacific, with a focus on operational excellence, efficiency and strengthening advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Prior to this elevation, Kolekar led the Stellantis Gurun manufacturing plant in Malaysia, which produces Peugeot and Leapmotor vehicles, as well as the Thiruvallur plant in India that manufactures Citroën vehicles. He has also held senior leadership roles at Adient, where he served as Country Director – Indonesia and Director Operations – Malaysia, overseeing multi-country operations and manufacturing optimisation across Asia Pacific markets including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Indonesia.Earlier in his career, Kolekar spent over 14 years at Johnson Controls in various operations leadership roles, including Plant Manager, driving plant transformation, customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Commenting on his appointment, Kolekar said he was grateful for the trust placed in him and committed to driving excellence across Stellantis’ manufacturing operations in the region.

The move comes as Stellantis continues to strengthen its manufacturing footprint in India and Asia Pacific amid evolving product strategies and competitive pressures in key markets.
