Steelbird Hi-Tech India, one of the country’s leading helmet manufacturers, has produced 9.85 million helmets in the current fiscal year, strengthening its position in India’s growing two-wheeler safety market.The Steelbird Group reported topline revenue of ₹869 crore, supported by rising demand, retail expansion and investments in manufacturing capabilities. The company is also preparing to launch 12 new helmet models across categories, including mid and premium segments.In a major capacity expansion move, Steelbird has increased its daily production capacity to 60,000 helmets. The company said the scale-up was enabled through automation, process optimisation and capacity enhancement initiatives across its manufacturing facilities.Steelbird has also expanded its retail footprint, with its exclusive Rider Shop network crossing 350 outlets nationwide. The company said the growing network is helping improve consumer reach and strengthen brand visibility across Tier I, Tier II and emerging markets.
“Steelbird’s growth is a reflection of our relentless focus on safety, scale, and accessibility. As India continues to witness a surge in two-wheeler usage, the need for high-quality protective gear becomes even more critical,” said Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird Hi-Tech India Limited.
Looking ahead, Steelbird has set a target to cross ₹1,000 crore in topline revenue in FY27. The company also aims to achieve 25 million helmets annually and a turnover of ₹2,500 crore by FY33.
