Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Friday said it secured multiple orders for its buildings and factories (B&F) business across several states in India.The company classified the orders as ‘significant,’ a category that typically covers contracts valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore.
In Gujarat, L&T will construct a float glass plant. The scope of work includes the design and construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, along with external development.
In Andhra Pradesh, the company secured an order from a two-wheeler manufacturer to build a manufacturing facility. The project will involve civil, structural and architectural work.
The company added that it also secured additional orders for ongoing projects.
“Further, the business has secured multiple add-on orders in existing projects, reflecting its strong execution capabilities and the customer confidence it commands,” it said.
L&T said its B&F vertical delivers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions across sectors, including hospitals, airports, data centres, residential and commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.Its portfolio also covers specialised segments such as automobile facilities, renewable energy-related infrastructure, glass plants, and food processing units.
