Kinetic Green, Exponent Energy introduces India’s fastest-charging electric 3 wheelers

Electric two and three-wheeler manufacturer Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd has partnered with rapid-charging technology pioneer Exponent Energy to introduce the fastest charging solution yet for the L3 and L5 electric three-wheeler segment — the biggest and fastest-growing EV category in the country.The collaboration brings 15-minute full charging to Kinetic Green’s popular L3 range — Safar Smart, Safar Shakti and Super DX — enabling quick top-ups during short breaks and boosting daily operating hours by up to 30 per cent for e-rickshaw and cargo cart operators.

In the L5 category, Kinetic Green’s high-speed Safar Jumbo loader — known for stronger payload capacity and range — will also adopt the ultra-fast charging technology, helping drivers complete more trips in a day. The upcoming L5M passenger variant, designed for speeds up to 50 kmph and longer intercity routes, will feature the same system to maximise vehicle utilisation.Exponent Energy’s full-stack platform powers the integration, combining advanced battery technology, intelligent software, and a rapidly expanding charging network. The vehicles will come with an industry-leading 3,000-cycle battery warranty, improving lifetime economics for operators and fleets.
