Kia India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) to strengthen industry–academia partnerships and create a sustainable skilling ecosystem for the automotive industry, PTI reports. The collaboration will focus on developing a robust talent pipeline through structured training and certification programmes, with an emphasis on electric vehicle (EV) adoption and enhancing customer experience — both seen as key drivers of India’s mobility transformation. “This collaboration with ASDC represents a pivotal step in Kia India’s commitment to shaping a future-ready ecosystem, anchored in skilled human capital and elevated customer experience,” said Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India.
