JK Tyre & Industries Ltd has announced the launch of the 2025 edition of the Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship Scheme. The initiative, started in 2023, provides financial aid for the higher education of daughters of heavy commercial vehicle drivers.

According to the company, more than 320 students have benefitted since its launch. This year, the programme will expand to cover 500 students pursuing undergraduate courses across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.

Focus on drivers’ families

Managing Director Anshuman Singhania said, “Our commercial vehicle drivers are invaluable assets to the nation, and by supporting their daughters’ education, we are honouring their contribution. With the 2025 edition of the JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship, we are reaffirming our commitment to ensure that no dream is left unrealised due to limited resources.”Applications for the scholarship can be submitted online in collaboration with Buddy4Study.

Wider social initiatives

The scholarship forms part of JK Tyre’s wider programmes in education, healthcare, livelihood and environmental sustainability. These include Smart Classes in government schools, adoption of ITIs, career guidance, health camps, skill training and water conservation projects.
