Haas will continue its recent tradition of using a special livery for this weekend’s race at the Circuit of the Americas.

The team’s VF-25s will appear in a different colour scheme to mark its second home race of the season, the United States Grand Prix. It will add stars and stripes graphics to the front wing, nose, sidepods, engine cover and rear wing endplates of the cars driven by Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman.

“This is one of our home races so we know the American fans will again provide an amazing atmosphere throughout the weekend,” said Ocon. “I’m looking forward to getting back out there, showing off our special livery, and hopefully giving our home fans plenty to cheer for.”

In addition to its aesthetic changes, Haas will also bring some new parts for its VF-25s as it seeks to move up from ninth in the constructors’ championship. “We’re bringing a small upgrade package here,” said team principal Ayao Komatsu, “but since it’s a sprint weekend, we will only have [first practice] to evaluate it, so it’s even more crucial that we hit the ground running.”

Haas has run American-themed liveries at the United States Grand Prix in every season since it split from Russian former title sponsor Uralkali in early 2022. This will be the second of the team’s three home races this year: it raced in Miami in May and will head to Las Vegas next month.

The team also ran a one-off pink livery at the Japanese Grand Prix to mark its recent technical collaboration with Toyota. It celebrated its 200th F1 race weekend at the Canadian Grand Prix by reverting to its original grey colour scheme.
