Aston Martin has presented its new livery for the 2026 Formula 1 season.

The AMR26 previously appeared in an all-black livery in pre-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya two weeks ago.

The team has retained the same driver line-up for the fourth year in a row, making it the joint longest-running partnership on the grid. Two-times world champion Fernando Alonso, F1’s most experienced driver of all time, remains alongside Lance Stroll, son of team owner Lawrence Stroll.

Adrian Newey, who joined Aston Martin as technical managing partner last year before taking on the role of team principal, said they have taken a “holistic approach” to conceiving their solution to F1’s radical new technical regulations. “With brand new regulations, the best philosophy is never immediately obvious, and your understanding evolves as the car develops,” he said.

“It’s not about one stand-out component, but how the full package works together. The focus has been on strong fundamentals, development potential, and a car that Lance and Fernando can hopefully extract performance from consistently.”

The AMR26 is the first car the team has produced entirely within the state-of-the-art new facilities it built at Silverstone following Lawrence Stroll’s takeover.
