The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revised passenger fares with effect from 25 August 2025, marking the first fare increase since 2017, when revisions were made on the recommendations of the Fourth Fare Fixation Committee.The DMRC said the adjustment ranges between ₹1 and ₹4 across most lines, while fares on the Airport Express Line will increase by up to ₹5.
New fare slabs
Under the revised structure, passengers travelling short distances of 0–2 kilometres will now pay ₹11, up from ₹10 earlier. The maximum fare has been increased from ₹60 to ₹64 for journeys beyond 32 kilometres.On Sundays and national holidays, discounted fare slabs will apply. For travel up to 5 kilometres, the fare has been capped at ₹11, while the maximum charge will be ₹54 for distances over 32 kilometres.

The new fares apply across the Delhi Metro network, which spans more than 390 kilometres and covers 285 stations in Delhi and the National Capital Region.
