Two-wheeler sales
Bajaj Autou2019s January 2025 two-wheeler domestic sales decreased by 11%, selling 1,71,299 units compared to 1,93,350 units in January 2024. This decline was offset by a significant 37% increase in two-wheeler exports, reaching 1,57,114 units compared to 1,14,898 units in January 2024.
This resulted in a total two-wheeler sales increase of 7%, with 3,28,413 units sold in January 2025 compared to 3,08,248 units in January 2024.
Commercial vehicle sales
Bajaj Autou2019s commercial vehicle segment experienced growth in both domestic and export markets in January 2025. Domestic sales increased by 1%, with 37,060 units sold compared to 36,693 units in January 2024. Exports saw a significant rise of 41%, reaching 15,567 units compared to 11,069 units in the previous year.
The combined growth resulted in a 10% increase in total commercial vehicle sales, with 52,627 units sold in January 2025 compared to 47,762 units in January 2024.
April to January sales
Bajaj Auto reported positive year-to-date sales performance from April to January of the fiscal year 2024-25. Total sales for this ten-month period reached 39,29,072 units, marking an 8% increase compared to the 36,38,367 units sold during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
Two-wheeler domestic sales during this period experienced a 4% increase, reaching 19,78,452 units. Exports of two-wheelers witnessed a stronger growth of 14%, reaching 13,88,707 units. This led to an overall 8% growth in total two-wheeler sales, reaching 33,67,159 units.
Commercial vehicles also demonstrated positive growth during the April-January period. Domestic sales saw a 4% increase, reaching 4,04,344 units, while exports grew significantly by 22%, reaching 1,57,569 units. The overall growth in total commercial vehicle sales for this period was 8%, reaching 5,61,913 units compared to 5,19,013 units in the same period last year.
