Bajaj Auto reported an 8% rise in consolidated net profit to INR 2,196 crore for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024, driven by strong export performance. This compares to a net profit of INR 2,033 crore during the same period last year. The company’s total revenue also saw growth, reaching INR 13,169 crore compared to INR 12,165 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Overall sales volume increased by 2%, with growth attributed to a significant rise in exports offsetting a decline in domestic sales.

Domestic sales

Domestic sales experienced a decline, with 7,07,105 units sold in Q3 2024 compared to 7,78,281 units in Q3 2023. This represents a 9% year-on-year decrease. The company sold a total of 12,24,472 units during the third quarter. This represents a 2% increase compared to the 12,00,997 units sold during the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Exports growth

Exports saw substantial growth, rising 22% year-on-year. The company exported 5,17,367 units in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, compared to 4,22,716 units during the same period last year.

Bajaj Auto’s Q3 profits reached INR 2,196 crore, up from INR 2,033 crore in Q3 of the last fiscal year. This represents an 8% year-on-year increase. Revenue also increased to INR 13,169 crore, compared to INR 12,165 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
