Bajaj Auto domestic sales skid 11% in April to 2,20,615 units – ET Auto

The two- and three-wheeler maker posted a decline of 6% in its total sales during the month.

Bajaj Auto reported a 11 per cent drop in its domestic sales with 2,20,615 units sold in April 2025 against 249,083 units sold in the same period last year. On the export front, the company reported a substantial increase in sales of 4 per cent with 1,45,195 units sold last month. Its total sales registered a decline of 6 per cent during the month, with combined sales of two-wheeler and commercial vehicles at 3,65,810 units compared to 3,88, 256 units a year-ago.Two wheeler salesDomestic two wheeler sales observed a double digit drop of 13 per cent with 1,88,615 units sold against 2,16,950 in April 2024. While the international market recorded a 4 per cent growth with 1,29,322 units, corresponding to 1,24,839 units in April 2024.

Cumulatively, the two-wheeler manufacturer’s sales dipped 7 per cent with 3,17,937 units, against 3,41,789 units in the same month of 2024.

Commercial vehicle sales

In the commercial vehicle segment, the domestic front reported muted sales in the last month of 2025 with 32,000 units sold in April 2025, against 32,133 units in the same month of 2024. On the international grounds, Bajaj Auto observed a good growth of 11 per cent with 15,873 units sold last month against 14,334 units sold last year.Overall, the commercial vehicle segment of Bajaj Auto performed a three per cent growth with 47,873 units sold in April 2025.
