Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group, on Thursday said that it has partnered with Chennai Super Kings as an official sponsor for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League at the company’s headquarters in Chennai on Friday.Under the agreement, Ashok Leyland’s logo will appear on the front right chest of CSK’s yellow jersey.

The event also unveiled CSK’s new official jersey for the upcoming season and a specially designed fan bus for the team’s “Whistle Podu” supporters.“We are excited to welcome Ashok Leyland to the Chennai Super Kings family as our Official Sponsor.”, said KS Viswanathan, Managing Director, Chennai Super Kings.
Ashok Leyland has had a long association with the Chennai franchise through its lubricant brand Gulf Oil. “This partnership is not just about a logo on a jersey; it is about being part of the journey of champions”, said Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO, Ashok Leyland.
